Our History

L4 Networks was founded in 1987 by a small group of telecom network engineering and project management professionals. Initially we focused on providing engineering and technical project management services to Telecoms. During the early 90s, we expanded that to include state, local and federal government entities and commercial enterprises of various sizes. In 2000 we began working with a partner to provide technical consulting and project management services to a set of international telecom operators. It is also then we began to focus more strongly on IT infrastructure security.

Our eCommerce division was born in 2004 as a B2B site to answer requests from other IT consultants to provide products that we had tested and supported. Although we still provide a B2B channel, we have expanded this to include end-user IT organizations.
